I'm a Los Angeles based photographer that began my photographic journey as a search for a creative outlet. Working as a Linux Systems Administrator (check out my geek blog), I craved something that let me express myself in an imaginative and graphical format. Photography satisfies my creative desires and provides enough of a technical aspect to keep the boring engineer side of me engaged.

I started where lots of others do - I purchased a digital SLR. I would take snapshots at parties and formal gatherings. The images I captured, while better than what I could achieve with a point-and-shoot camera, were nothing special. I knew I had the tool to do the job, but I didn't have the knowledge to use it. I enrolled in a few photography classes, stumbled on the blogs of a few well known photographers, and began my journey. Through lots of trial and error, I discovered a love for black and white film photography and on-location portraiture.

Where my journey leads next is unknown, but I sincerely hope that our paths cross along the way.
